Description

Gill Sans is available as freshly cast metal type, suitable for all practical printing jobs. The type is composed on a Monotype composition caster and offered in small and medium job set sizes. If you are interested in purchasing a full case, please contact us directly.

The type is available in 12pt and can be supplied in your preferred type height:

• American/UK height (0.918″/23.32mm)
• European height (23.56 mm)
• Russian height (25.1 mm)

If you have worn or used type metal that needs refreshing, we offer a metal exchange option. By returning old type of a similar weight, you can receive a 25% discount on a replacement product.

Please note that Monotype composition metal is slightly softer than foundry type. Handle with care, avoid excessive printing pressure, and always clean the type thoroughly after use to ensure a long and reliable printing life.

NB! The metal alloy used for these types contains lead, antimony and tin. Handle with care and remember to wash your hands!
