Museum Visit & Guided Tour
Visit TYPA and discover the story of printing in Europe. Your ticket includes a guided tour of the museum, where you will see our collection of wooden and metal types, try printing on one of our oldest presses, and experience the art of paper making.
Practical information
Open Wed-Sun, 12:00-18:00. Visiting museum possible only with a guided tour! Tours start every hour, with the last tour at 17:00.
Full-price ticket: €15 Discount ticket: €8
Free entry with the Estonian Museum Card.
Tours are available in English and Estonian. Russian is possible but please email us first to confirm, with atleast 3 days notice.
Tickets will be available to collect at TYPA before the tour.
We will not send you tickets, all you need is your payment confirmation. At checkout select PICKUP and not delivery.
Group visits
Groups of 8 or more can also visit outside normal opening hours, including evenings. Please book in advance at typa@typa.ee.
Gallery
Our museum gallery hosts regularly changing exhibitions from international artists and museum collections. The gallery can be visited free of charge.
